Lambz O' Mariah meet Jill & MC in Toronto!
Liron asked us to write a little paragraph about our own little diva, Jill Ambrosino. What can we say about Jill? She's adorable and probably the nicest, most helpful person you'll ever deal with!! She really loves Mariah and she really loves all the fans, and we really love her! There's no way we could ever thank her enough for all that she's done for us... so JillyBeanChop, if you're reading this, you are soooo cute and thank you so much! From Kerry Kilpatrick: Kilpatrick sisters meet Jill!
It was April 4th, 2000 and to my sisters (Jenny, Sharon and Julie) and myself this day meant one thing only "WE ARE GOING TO SEE MARIAH AT THE FLEETCENTER TONIGHT!!!". Well, that's what we thought. While getting ready to leave for the show in Boston news from our local radio stations made it clear that the show had been canceled. We were so upset that we decided to head into Boston anyway and meet a fellow "Mariah's Diary" board user Andrea (aka mariahcareygirl) at the hotel Mariah was staying at in Boston.
After going into the fleetcenter to see why the show had been canceled we found out that the show had been rescheduled for the following Thursday (we were literally jumping for joy in the fleetcenter entrance) we headed out to the hotel to meet up with Andrea and look for Mariah :) We met Andrea and her friend Sasha (who are two very cool ladies) and waited in the rain for approx. 3 1/2 hours.
We were ignored by all hotel staff but it all paid off when a sweet little lady named Jill approached us. She walked up to us on the corner of the sidewalk and asked us who we were waiting for and we all said in unison in fact "MARIAH! MARIAH!" Jill smiled at us and proceeded to tell us that she was Mariah's personal assistant Jill and then told us what had happened with Mariah in Atlanta with the food poisoning, etc., and said that she was about to go visit Mariah in the hospital. She then apologized to us for Mariah saying how sorry she was that she had to cancel the show and that she hoped that the fans weren't too upset. Then she said that Mariah wanted to know if there were any local websites that she could get in contact with to tell the local fans how sorry she was. I jumped at the question with the address for Mariah's Diary and Jill wrote down the address and said that she would post on the board for Mariah later on. We then asked Jill if she would give Mariah a tee-shirt I had made (with the heartbreaker cartoon bustin' outta a broken heart and a lamby in sunglasses on the back with a rainbow background saying "MCz LAMBZ") and Jill said she would and how cool it was of us to give her all of this stuff for Mariah and how much Mariah loves her fans etc.
She told us how nice it was meeting all of us and thanked us again and then went off to see Mariah at the hospital. She was so sweet and polite to all of us.
When we got home we told everyone on the Diary that we had met Jill and that she would be leaving a message on the board sometime soon. And the very next day she did! She left a message to "the girls I met at hotel yesterday." Jill really gave Mariah the shirt and she said she loved it and that they left something for each of us at the desk with the hotel concierge. Which they did:) Autographs for all of us from Mariah's hospital bed saying stuff like "thanks for brightening up my dreary room" and "thanks for making me smile" We had quite an adventure the next week at the concert but thats a complete and total mess IN FACT. Its another story and a funny one at that:)
Anyhow I'd just like to say that meeting Jill was wonderful in fact. She is a total sweetie pie and everyone at Mariah's Diary can attest to that! Jill if you're reading this my sisters and I would all like to thank you for your kindness to us and wish you nothing but the best in the future. Thanks for keeping everyone at the Diary up-to-date with the Mariah 411. YOU'RE THE BEST IN FACT! Take care and BIE!

My story coincides with Miss Kerry's story, so I'll make it shorter.
We met up outside M's hotel, and I am really glad I met those guys, IN FACT, and the bunch of us stood there in the rain, we endured getting kicked off hotel property by snooty hotel managers, being soaked, for 4 hours.
Then the sweetheart Jill came over to us and told us M was in the hospital. She was kind enough to take our gifts to her in the hospital.
I picked her up a picture frame so she could put Luis's picture in it, a cold care kit, skin lotion, and a book about a little bi racial girl that I knew she'd like.
I gave her a letter in the bag, too...and Jill took all of our things to her at the hospital.
We gave her the Diary's address, and Jill has been keeping in touch with the fans ever since.
Mariah wrote out little thank you card type things, and Jill got them for us and delivered. What a great girl. I can't say thank you enough...I wish I could have gotten to know her a bit better...but that's alright. One day I'll work with M, and I can sit and chat with her then! Wow, where to start. I have been a Mariah fan for several years now and getting a call from Mariah was amazing. When I first picked up the phone on May 28, 2000, Jill said, "Regina, Hold On!" Then Mariah came on and we talked for close to an hour. I had to do something on my site with Jill, so I got to talk to her for a while. She was so nice and sweet. I talked to Jill for a while in e-mail and then she called me one night to ask a favor from her and Louise, which I can't say what. We got to talk for a while more and I swear she is the sweetest person! Then, I got to talk to Mariah for the second time and Jill for the third. I continue to e-mail Jill now and I am always worried that I am bugging her and I ask her if I am. She always reply's saying no and everytime she writes, she makes me smile. She is such a hard working gal and was never once, for the short while I knew her, mean at all! I am so thankful I know her and one day I will take her to get some chocolate and vanilla ice cream from Carvel! Ha ha, that's her favorite she said, I believe :) Hopefully I can continue to talk to her and Mariah forever cause they are both amazing individuals. I love ya Jill and thanks for everything you have done for me these last couple weeks! You seriously are so sweet and so nice!!!!!!

Well, I've only mailed her a few times and the experience has in fact been nothing but pleasant. She seems to appreciate what I do for my site, and I appreciate her answering the questions I ask her. She seems to be a very nice person.
Here's a poem I wrote for Jill:
Jill, I wish my life you would fill, my time you would kill, Sing Doo Wop like Lauryn Hill, Help MC's trouble be nill, So she'll help you pay your bill. Okay, that's about it, I'm just a dumb blonde swede but I'm doin' my best! In fact. =)

Shayne's Story:
The only reason I have contact with Jill is though pure luck! I'm certainly glad it happened though, because Jill is one of the sweetest and most down to earth people you could ever meet. Forget the fact that she works alongside Mariah, Jill is a superstar in her own right.

Yep! Mariah better be careful or Jill's going to takeover lol Seriously though, I'm so glad I and other people have had the opportunity to communicate regularly with Jill. We all tremendously appreciate all of her efforts to keep us in contact with Mariah and everything that happens.
So, thanks Jill!! Can I have your autograph? lol You're the best!
