"Hi Guys! I sound like this because I have been in 3 countries in 1 day with about 2 hours of sleep, in fact... I am on a European promo trip & I'm trying to finish my soundtrack, but I wanted to call in.

Anja - a girl from Germany who I have met several times - gave me a 'fan review' book of my tour and it made me smile (and cry - naturally), so thank you for that. In almost every fan book 99% of you mention that CTTA is your favorite - and say it has inspired you.
I even got a petition that Kevin Cane from Indiana gave me which helped me fight to get it released as a single - so thank you for that.

As a lot of you know, the political situation in my professional career is not stellar (it is very very hard), and I am getting a lot of negative feedback from certain corporate people. Still, I'm not willing to give up on Can't Take That Away and I just don't want to let you all down if it is not a big top 5 or 10 record. The only reason I say this is because lots of you write that it is a #1 song. At this point, basically, if there are not thousands of requests to radio stations and TRL constantly... it is just going to quietly fade away.

What is most important to me are those of you who say the song has given you hope and strength. I just want it to reach as many people as possible, and it is so hard with my professional situation to ever really know what is going on - so it's truly a complete mess. Hey everybody!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU & GREAT JOB for all the requests to the radio stations and also at TRL that you all have been working so hard doing!

From Joey at KMEL in San Francisco he has received over 450 emails and he has adding CTTA to his playlist!
So, thank you all for this success and I guess we can take this station off the list of the ones we need to email.

Once again, thank you ALL for being so dedicated to helping CTTA (and also Crybaby).

Hello again!

One very important thing I forgot to say is this:

Mariah was worried that by contacting a few of her fans directly - i.e. calling Regina and emailing Shayne - that she would unintensionally be causing more harm AMONG the fans then good. She asked me to post a message in a place where as many of her fans as possible would be able to read explaining that in no way did she mean to alienate anyone or make anyone feel less important to her or less appreciated by her. She wants you all to please understand that if she could call or email every single one of you, she would...that you all are EQUALLY important to her...EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HER FANS IS VERY VERY SPECIAL TO HER and please do not ever think otherwise!!
Mariah loves all of you very much! She knows how hard all of you are working and she thanks you so much - and all of us working along side her thank you too.

You all are wonderful. We can't thank you enough!

The Queenchop asked me to post a message to all of you in regard to the unusual or "disturbing" emails some of you have been receiving. We may or may not know for sure who may be originating these messages. What is important is that all of you not feel threatened in any way by them or whomever may be sending them. She wants you all to know that your unfaltering support is what keeps her going. She loves you all so much and is ever so thankful for all the hard work everyone is doing. Do not let any of those unkind or threatening emails upset you! She would like all of you to still feel safe to say whatever you want, where ever you want - be it in emails, on the messageboard... whichever you choose to pick! - because no one should make the fans feel badly for voicing their opinion in support of her music! Thank you all SO VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING! xox

hello again FOM! Shayne (thank you for giving me the ok to do this) emailed me this morning and explained how some of you are having a hard time believing that I, Jill, am really 'mcinsider' or that I am MC's assistant at all, or that when I write messages for Mariah that they are really from her - her words - etc. I just want to tell you all that I understand how this whole situation is slightly wacky and sometimes confusing...it's just that I want to really stress the fact that I am being honest with you and it really is me (Jill) and sometimes Mariah, the Queenchop herself, writing to all of you. I know this is really the first time that MC has contacted her friends through the internet...in the past she has always been a bit weary of it all...but I promise we are truly who we say we are and I hope this helps clear some things up! Thank you!
